Kaffepaus / Coffeebreak

Har tagit kaffepaus, det händer ungefär 10 gånger per år och alltid i anslutning till julen. Bland de mest juliga smakerna för mig är pepparkakor doppade i kaffe. I vanliga fall är kaffe en hemsk besk dryck som man gör bäst att undvika (enligt mig) men vid jul är det en fantastisk doppar-dryck.

I'm having one of my coffeebreaks today, it happens about ten times a year and always around Cristmas. Among the most Christmasy flavours I know ginger snaps dipped in black coffee is the best. Usually I thick that coffee is a horrible bitter potion that you shuld avoid (if you ask me) but during Christmas it's one of the most wonderful tings you can dip your ginger snaps in.

Trying to blog from iPad but the programming of the pad doesn't allow me to change language during one document (at least not that I'm aware of). If you have got any ideas about how I can solve this problem please write a comment below. I really do hate to go to war against the spellcheck every time I write in english...

Edit: Found the solution, it's what the small globe is for... Seems I learn a new thing every day :D

Lite till / A bit more

Fortsätter virka men varven är sååå långa!

Har just haft tentavecka så där finns förklaringen till varför jag varit borta från verkligheten.

I keep on crocheting but the round are sooo long!

This week has been a hard one, since I'm studying at the university some weeks are a bit rougher than others...

Nytt spänne / A new buckle

Köpte ett nytt spänne att hålla ihop det hela med.

Bought a new buckle to hold it all together.

Tiger-garn / Tiger-yarn

Köpt nytt garn, tigrigt värre! Garnet heter Safari och kommer från Hjertegarn. Köpte garnet på Stickat och Klart i Borås och de berättade att garnet är efterlängtat av far- och mormödrar som letat roliga sockgarner att sticka av till sina vilda barnbarn. Jag hade tur och kom dit just efter att garnleveransen lämnats av och kan därför stoltsera med de två första nystanen som sålts i Borås :)

(Det är ju modernt med sockgarner med Aloe Vera och sånt där i så varför inte tillsätta lite tigerbalsam i detta? Jag skulle då köpa det :P)

Bought new yarn, tigery yarn! The yarn is called Safari and is made by Hjertegarn. It's bought at Stickat och Klart in Borås (Sweden) and they told me that grandmothers longed for this yarn to knit socks for their wild grandchildren. I was lucky enough to arrive just as the yarn was unpacked and am therefore proud owner of the first two skeins sold here in Borås :)

(Since it's so modern with sockyarn with Aloe Vera, why not use tigerbalm in this yarn? I would buy it :P)

Tillbaka från Japan / Back from Japan

Tillbaka från resan till Chichibu. Det var så många upplevelser på så kort tid att jag knappt kan förstå att jag redan är hemma, tror att två veckors upplevelser komprimerades ihop till fem dagar...

Resans huvudmål var dagarna i Chichibu som avslutades med utställningens öppnande (Siden och ull - tygkultur, samma som var i Skellefteå tidigare i år). Det var så många besökare att jag knappt hade tid att äta lunch, så kul!

Back from my lovely trip to Chichibu. It was so many things happening at once that I can't belive that I'm already at home, I think that two weeks experiences was pressed in to five days time...

The journeys main goal was the days in Chichibu that ended with the exhibitions opening (Siden och ull - tygkultur, the one that was in Skellefteå earlier this year). There were so many people there that I barely had time to eat lunch, so much fun!
