Besökte i lördags Norrbottens Museum och tittade på utställningen Hemslöjden 130 år. Runt om ingången hade de dekorerat med korsstygn av plastband på en perforerad yta.
Visited the County Museum of Norrbotten that is celebrating their handicrafts movement that is celebrating 130 years this year. On the picture above you can see how they have decorated the entrance with cross stitch patterns.
Här är en närbild på bården runt ingången, idén är ganska spännande så jag skulle inte bli förvånad om detta skulle kunna slå inom heminredning.
Here's a closeup on the embroidered edge around the entrance. I find the idea quite intresting and wouldn't be surprised if we soon will see this kind of embroidery in modern handicraft home-styling.

En krans av någon typ av frökapslar som målats i rött och vitt, kanske något att inspireras av till vintern?
A wreath made out of some kind of pod that's been painted in red and white, maybe something to get inspired by this coming winter?
Hjärtväggen där varje medlem i Norrbottens Hemslöjdsförening fins representerad i form av ett hjärta. Väggen är jättestor och detta är bara en liten del.
The wall of hearts there every member of the Handicraft organization of Norrbotten is represented by one heart. The wall is really big and this is only a small pice of it.
En flätad trasmatta från en privat samling. Detta är en väldigt vanlig mattyp här uppe och är en trevlig matta att föra av trasor om man inte har möjlighet att väva en trasmatta av trasorna.
A braided rag-rug from a private collection. This is a very common type of rag-rug here in the north of Sweden and a very easy way to use rag-rug material if you don't have opportunity to weave one.
